Casa Verde Holiday Home is located on the small island of Porto Santo, ‘Madeira’s little Sister’ - the perfect spot for getting some peace and quiet and creative inspiration. There is a wifi internet connection and secure off-road parking. The garden patio has a barbecue and there is a large gravelled garden, with garden furniture and expansive views of the sea and nearby hills.

Where are we?
Porto Santo is a 14 million year old tiny volcanic island in the Atlantic and part of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Portugal. The beach is 9km of golden sand, with safe swimming. Sea temperatures are 24 degrees in the summer and autumn, and about 19 degrees in the winter and spring. The island is quiet, with plenty of opportunities for walking in the beautiful hills or on the cliffs and beaches

How to get here from the UK?
Direct flights with Easyjet or Monarch Funchal, Madeira, and then a short flight or the ferry to Porto Santo. The plane takes 15 mins and the ferry 2hrs 15 mins for the short stretch stretch between Madeira and Porto Santo.
During the holiday season there are Thomson flights on Mondays from Gatwick and Manchester directly to Porto Santo.
From elsewhere: international flights to Lisbon and then via Madeira to Porto Santo

Mobility:
The town centre and the beach are within 20min walking distance, 5min by car.
Bicycles, scooters, "quads" and cars can easily be hired on the island on a daily or weekly basis and
the local bus service covers all points of interest.

Restaurants:
A number of restaurants in the town centre offer Portuguese and international cuisine. Along the beach as well as in town are many small bars and cafés. The big hotels offer meals for non-residents

Shopping:
The supermarket "Pingo Doce" in the town centre offers all of life's necessities. Several small fashion and tourist shops complete the picture.
